Additionally, he has been recognized as one of the best shooters by Pete Vescey of the NY Post, named the best streetball player by Flow TV, and dubbed the "White Michael Jordan" by Channel 11. The 15+ kids were so entertained by his incredible basketball tricks/games, and he was lovely to work with.   • A big thank you to East Meadow High School for hosting the 2019 Section 8 Boys’ Volleyball Awards ceremony, where guest speaker Jack “Blackjack” Ryan inspired nearly 300 student-athletes, parents, coaches, and officials. In its 5th year, the event not only honors the athletes' success but also aims to leave them with a positive message. Jack Ryan delivered just that and more.

  • We were thrilled to have streetball legend Jack “Blackjack” Ryan present during our Awareness Weekend program. Speaking to 115 tired high school students, Jack captivated them with his message of resilience, impressive ball skills, and genuine connection. The students were immediately engaged after watching his Netflix segment "Losers," and he related to many who face similar challenges. The feedback from both students and staff was outstanding, and we would gladly invite Jack back for a school-wide assembly.
